A grainy photograph from the same series but without a hand-written title and description. A sailing vessel turns in a tight arc without the assistance of a steam tug probably using her kedge anchors and a capstan powered by manpower alone. I wonder if she lost one of her kedge anchors? Is it a 1841 Board of Admiralty pattern anchor recovered from the dock about one-hundred years later during the Marina construction works and which now has pride of place in my garden!
