It appears that on Thursday afternoon deceased complained of being unwell, but nothing was heard of him until he was discovered as described. The crew of the ship is composed of Chinese and coolies, so that the police when summoned had great difficulty in obtaining any particulars. The body was removed by some of the crew to the mortuary, where it awaits an inquest. Deceased was about 50 years of age."
