• 1896 - 'Two Steamers Waiting for Tips' - 'Zeus' : 'Benefactor' - The photograph is dated 24th December 1896 when the Dock Shipments were recorded as 6,840 Tons. The tug moored between the barges is the 'Primrose' of Cardiff which was normally stationed at Penarth Dock. The lower image has been colourised.
