The capital of the Rhymney Railway Company is £800,000 in ordinary stock represented by £431,003 undivided, £ 318,997 preferred ordinary, £318,997 deferred ordinary, £993,090 in preference, and £463,700 in debenture stock.

After providing for the debenture interest and preference dividend, the undivided ordinary stock has received the following dividends in the past 10 years:-

• November 1908 - Cardiff Railway Fusion - The "Times" states that stockbrokers are organising opposition to the Taff-Bute-Rhymney fusion. - Evening Express [135] [361] 28th November 1908.

During May of 1909 an enquiry into the Taff-Bute-Rhymney Railway Amalgamation Bill was held at the House of Lords. Cardiff City Council voted in favour of supporting the Bill by 20 votes to 12 in the same month. Other interested parties weren't so happy about the proposed Bill and the fusion of the dock and railway companies!
