• 1910 - s.s. 'Chaco' - installation of a new boiler at the works of the Penarth Ship Building & Ship Repairing Company, Limited.
   
• 1882-5 - A pen and ink drawing of a vessel undergoing repair upon the gridiron of the Penarth Ship Building and Ship Repairing Company Limited.
   
• 1950's - A photograph looking upstream of the River Ely towards the disused slipway and remains of the gridiron.
   
• 1950's - Another view upstream showing in detail a section of the decaying wooden structures that lined the southern bank of the River Ely.
