1984 - Penarth Dock and Basin
An aerial view taken on the 10th July 1984 showing the new dam for the marina development across the dock. Much of the tipping spoil had to be removed first. Many thanks to Penarth Framing Services [113] for the use of this image.

1984 - Penarth Dock Basin
The lower image, of Penarth Head, St. Augustine's church, the town an pier beyond. In the foreground is the, (at this date of 1984) derelict Customs House and the Mercantile Marine Office to the left of it. The basin is in use but badly silted-up by the time this photo was taken. Once again, many thanks to Penarth Framing Services [113] for the use of this image.
