Penarth Dock - Reconstruction of Three Tips - 1912

The front elevation drawing of coal tips numbers 4, 11 and 12 - as seen from the dock - prepared by the East Ferry Road Engineering Company Ltd., of Milwall, London. The title is "Proposed 25 Ton Hydraulic Fixed Coal Hoist for the Taff Vale Railway - Penarth Dock" and is drawn at a scale of ⅜ inch = 1 foot. The cradle is shown at its maximum position in height but could be lowered and the shute angle changed to suit the ship and location of where the coal was required. [142]
