1911 - No. 5 Tip (Tannett Walker & Company) - Letter from Ammon Beasley at the TVR Office to T. Hurry Riches Esq.

1911 - Reference No. 5 Tip (Tannett Walker & Company) - Letter from Ammon Beasley at the TVR Office to T. Hurry Riches Esq. - The letter is headed No. 5 Tip Penarth Harbour but actually refers to No. 5 Tip Penarth Dock since Tannett Walker built and installed a new hydraulic coal tip for this location which was commissioned and in service during 1912. The content of the draft letter is not known but would surely have been associated with either the technical or commercial aspects of the TVR tender requirements. However, Mr. Hugh Ingledrew was the solicitor appointed by the TVR to protect its interests!

The original letter is held within the archives of the National Museum of Wales. [629] [Museum item number : 88.20I/227} {20180526]
