Account to T.T.Pascoe of Cardiff for dock charges for 'Pamir'

An account for dock rent charges relating to the 'Pamir' at Penarth Dock during the period 3rd to 23rd of February 1951. The document confirms an arrival date of 12th May 1950 and her departure on the 13th March 1951. The arrival date is most probably the date of her return from Barry having been unloaded of her cargo of grain and rats! The account is addressed to agents Messrs T. T. Pascoe Limited of Cardiff and was paid on 5th April 1951 as the two pence stamped receipt indicates. 'Dr' at the start of the document signifies it is a debit account whereas if was preceded with 'Cr' it would have been a credit account - thanks to Julie for her input and for her knowledge of commercial protocol stretching back over half a century. One of three similar historical documents kindly provided by the archive staff of the Ålands sjöfartsmuseum of Finland. [001] [343]
