'Passat' in October 1949
Another image from the Ålands sjöfartsmuseum with the title 'Passat' - Penarth - 3.10.1949. However, the large building at the quayside defines that it is not Penarth. This photo is of her was probably taken at Falmouth Docks since it is recorded that she arrived at Penarth three days later on the 6th of October. [001] [343]

Many thanks to Anna and all the staff at the Ålands sjöfartsmuseum of Finland for their contribution to the story of 'Pamir' whilst she was at Penarth Dock. I thought it would be of interest to those fascinated by the frequent windjammer visits to the Bristol Channel ports to include some additional images from my album of the 'Passat' at Avonmouth Docks during 1948 prior to that last commercial voyage around the Horn.

'Passat' at Avonmouth Docks during October 1948 - open to the public for viewing.
