Two similar photographic views taken from the album of 'Passat' at Avonmouth Docks during October 1948 just prior to the last grain race around the Horn. I love the action at the lower right hand corner of the lower image where mother and father are walking urgently almost dragging their child as they make their way purposely towards the gangplank. Another historic image from the Penarth Dock Collection. [001]
