I believe the T.V.R. site office to be at the location of the 'Traffic Inspector's Office and the Public Telegraph & Telephone Call Room' situated nearby the subway under the sidings and on the path which leads up to the triangle in front of the Royal Hotel. The section of dock plan is taken from the 'Taff Vale Railway - Penarth Dock and Harbour Plan of 1895' and attributed to G. T. Siberling, Engineer. The original plan is held at Glamorgan Archives.
