◊ Cardiff Free Library - A Valentine's series postcard dating from 1900-1905 of the Hayes Island, the statue of John Batchelor and left distant, St. John's church. The Free Library was opened in May 1882 as the Cardiff Free Library, Museum and Schools for Science and Art. At the time of this postcard it was known as the Central Library.
