A section of the GWR plan of Penarth Dock which was originally prepared during the TVR era. The date of this plan is c.1928 - 1933 and was prepared as a survey of occupants of the dockside premises. It shows the trumpet bell shaped entrance to the sea lock. The northern structure is labeled 'Jetty' whereas the southern is a 'Pier'. This document is from the Swindon and Wiltshire Archives in Swindon which, of course, was the headquarters of the GWR.
