Bristol Floating Harbour.

Bristol Harbour - A postcard of Bristol Harbour being another of Mr. Ridley's works a little further afield. The photographer appears to be set up in Margate. On the right is the Great Western Dockyard, a ferry crosses at the start of the Floating Harbour, whilst distant, is the Prince's Wharf. Another fine heritage postcard record of Mr. Ridley's work as a photographer in South Wales and the West Country during the period 1900 - 1910 held within the Penarth Dock Collection. [001] [M.J.R. - B. 2763] [20190312] The OS map, 6in series, published 1905 shows the approx. line of sight of Mr. Ridley's camera. [010] [398] I am not too familiar with this area of Bristol so corrections are very welcome as always!
