◊ Crockern Pill - 1882 - A section of an OS map surveyed in 1882 and published in 1884 of the Crockern Pill and village of Pill which indicates the location of the dry-dock and boat-yard at the head of the pill adjacent to the railway viaduct. The dry dock also appears on the 1904 OS map but at the 1912 revision it appears to have been filled-in since the yard closed in 1905. [010] [398]
