• c.1880 - The Bute Docks at Cardiff. Around 1885 sailing ships were out-numbered in quantity and tonnage by steamships at both Cardiff and Penarth hence, this photograph may well be a record from an earlier date. [000] [002]

• c.1900 - The Bute Dock Company Offices at Cardiff, Pier Head. A later photograph given the lines of the tug and the fact that the offices were not opened until 1897 ; the previous offices having been destroyed by fire during 1892. [000] [002]
