1830's - View from Cardiff.

• 1830's - View from Cardiff - The old town hall may be viewed with the Bute docks beyond. Distant is Penarth Head with both Flat Holm and Steep Holm included for good measure. Some artistic licence has been adopted here since both islands would not be visible from this vantage point. The original was engraved by J. H .LeKeux based upon artwork by one W. H. Bartlett and was published within Finden's Views of the Ports, Harbours and Watering Places of Great Britain published in 1839. The engraving has been colourised. An engraving from the Penarth Dock Collection. [001]
