The postcard is post-marked Penarth, September 1921 ; for reservations, your telegram should be remitted to "Esplanade Hotel Penarth" or, alternatively you can telephone, asking the telephonist to put you through to "Penarth 18". Esplanade Hotel from Pier, Penarth - I am letting things drift here.
• c.1890's -1900's - Esplanade Hotel from Pier, Penarth - I am letting things drift here. A somewhat fanciful image since the boat is floating in mid-air and, as I fear many before have found, the splash as you hit the murky waters 30 feet or so below is enough to stir the most dreamy of drifters from their slumber! • c.1890's -  Sea-water Baths and Esplanade Hotel, Penarth - A simply lovely view with Penarth Head distant and taken on a sunny day, complete with donkey rides and showing gentlemen and ladies at leisure taking the air at the esplanade. An illustration sent to me from an anon. source. [000] [002]
