A survey at London probably at the works of John Stewart & Sons upon the compound steam engines and boiler for the tug Hawk. Her hull was completed at the Penarth Ship Building and Shiprepairing Company then towed to London for her engines and boiler to be fitted following her launch on the 15th September 1887.
