s.s. 'Valeria' - Report on Machinery for Valeria - 10th January 1882 - page 1 of 2.

She was surveyed at Newbury, Bristol and at Penarth (presumably afloat within the dock) by Mr. A. E. Keydell.  The vessel was an iron hulled steamship of 155 Gross Register Tonnage registered to the Port of Cardiff. She was built at the shipyard of Messrs. Charles Hill & Sons of Bristol and launched during 1881.
