'Fredenborg'

Wooden barque 'Fredenborg'

In March 1914, Gustaf Erikson of Mariehamn, Åland bought a ¾ share of the barque 'Fredenborg.' The vessel was a three-masted wooden barque built during 1881 at Geta, Åland. [002]

According to Lloyd's of London she arrived at Cardiff on 29th July 1916 having been damaged 'by stress of weather' and was subsequently towed to Penarth Harbour and broken up.
