1949 - At Dinas Powis Station with a down local passenger headed for Barry Island. The photograph was featured within an article named 'Four Miles from Cardiff General' published within British Railways Illustrated Magazine in which Bryan Wilson states: 'A bit further down the line and 0-6-2T 5632, another of Barry's finest, arrives at Dinas Powis with a down local. This lasted until December 1962. Over on the down side. beyond the derelict yard with its 30 cwt crane, is the site of the Gwalia Brick Company whose private siding agreement expired at the end of September 1947. A couple of engineer's brake vans, to the left of the signal arm, occupy what remains of the siding.' - Photograph J. C. Flemmons. The Transport Treasury.
