1955 - British Railways locomotive 5937 approaching Dinas Powis station during January 1955. [1041]  As a child I recall sitting in the signal box and drinking hot tea with Fussell's condensed-milk from a chipped enamelled cup whilst my father and myself chatted and I played games with the signalman. I also remember that the stairs were rather scary to walk down, especially if a train was approaching! The enlargement of the signal box has been colourised.
