The Red House Inn or Railway Hotel or Penarth Railway Inn was a public house situated just above the high water line on the shores of the Penarth Flats adjacent to Ferry Road.

During 1977 the following article was published about the pub within the periodical 'Malt & Hops' by CAMRA the organisation that promotes a Campaign for Real Ale! [959] Also with thanks to the Cathays Heritage Centre. [701]
