The following text is taken from Appendix A - Details of Illustrations:

This figure is based on photographs taken at the time the storm struts were fitted and the of the area as it looks at the current time. [c.1984]

Exact size is estimated and although the pattern of the framework is correct the details of which piece passed in front of another are not totally correct.

It is interesting to note that these storm struts were operated by the direct application of hydraulic rams. These were grouped around a pivot near the top of the side wall and can still be seen.
