The Campbell Fleet's War Service - Peace and War.
Messrs. P. & A. Campbell Ltd.
When the stern necessities of war drew the veil of secrecy over the daily deeds of heroism of the men afloat, few probably realised the many dangers our sailormen faced, under all conditions, and in all parts of the great waters, that England might win through.

Terse official telegrams had often behind them stories which would have made the world ring, if they could only have been published in detail. Now it is possible to lift the veil a little, and reveal something of the duties, nobly done, by the auxiliaries which so ably assisted England's sure shield in peace and war.
