In November 1883, Mr. Henry Ooakden Fisher (son of George Fisher), Superintendent of the Carriage & Wagon Department, Cardiff of the Taff Vale Railway, issued the following Rules and Regulations which are held within the Penarth Dock Collection. [001]

TAFF VALE RAILWAY - Notice is Hereby Given.

TAFF VALE RAILWAY - Notice is Hereby Given - That the Taff Vale Railway Company, by virtue and in exercise of the provisions of the several Acts of Parliament specifically relating to the Railways, Branch Railways, and Works belonging to or occupied by them, and of the several public Acts of Parliament relating to Railways, have made the following RULES AND REGULATIONS, and the observance thereof will be strictly enforced with respect to all new, transferred, or rebuilt Vehicles intended to be used upon the said Railways, or any part thereof.
