Penarth Dock panorama
The remains of the slipway which was originally built for the Penarth Shipbuilding and Ship Repairing Company formed in 1878. During the 1900's it fell into disuse and became commonly utilised for boat repair by the locals and other companies. This photo was taken in c. 1965.
   

above - A company which apparently used the old slipway commercially was Moonfleet Marine Mouldings Limited, however, the company was dissolved in 1973.
