On the English side the places visited were Bristol, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare, Minehead, Lynmouth and Ilfracombe. Lundy Island was also served regularly.

Bristol Channel Paddle Steamer Services

The 'Bristol Channel Services' for paddle steamer operator P & A Campbell's White Funnel Fleet, taken from the 'White Funnel Handbook' probably published in the early 1950's i.e. around the period that Clive Spencer recalls. [001] [307]

Unfortunately, the furthest down the the Bristol Channel we got in the 'Ravenswood' was Barry. I remember hearing that owing to her age she was not licensed to proceed further west but this may have been conjecture based on someone's overly active imagination.
