4. Aerial Photographs :

Plan photographs of Cardiff were taken by the RAF in 1947, 1948 and 1950. J A Storey carried out a survey in 1981. BKS were responsible for the most recent photographs, in 1987, taken for the Cardiff Bay Development Corporation and used in the production of 1/500 mapping of the whole of their area. The Welsh Office hold oblique aerial photographs taken in 1942. A view of Penarth Dock includes barrage balloons
