Section 'No. 8 - Revenue Receipts and Expenditure of the Whole Undertaking':-

Receipts in respect of Railway Working, and of Separate Businesses carried out by the Company, including estimated amount receivable under agreement with the Government in respect of control of the Railways for the period January 1st to August 15th, 1921' was stated as £2,391,382-14s.-2d. with expenditure against this amount of £2,052,879-15s.-4d. This left a balance of £338,502-18s.-10d. down on 1920 (presumably a full year accounts) at £402,053. The proportion receivable under Section 11 of the Railways Act 1921 was estimated at £109,000-0s.-0d. In addition the 'Interest and Dividends from Investments in other companies' included a sum of £1,600-0s.-0d. from the Penarth Pontoon, Slipway and Ship Repairing Company, Ltd.
