WWII - Guarding the Fortress of Britain at a Coastal Battery -  Page 2 of a series of photographs held at the Imperial War Museum of WWII operations at Lepe Point, Fawley, Hampshire which were equipped with 6-inch Breach Loading guns similar to those in use at Penarth Head from 1903.
   
1913 - Champion Shooting Company - No.4 Company - Glamorgan R.G.A. plus the 1904 - 2nd Glamorgan R.G.A. - No. 9 Company - Gunnery Detachmen.
   
1907 - 2nd G. A. Volunteers - Colonel E. C. Fry the New Commander replacing Colonel Henry Oakden Fisher.
   
The Earl of Plymouth was Honorary Colonel of the 2nd Glamorganshire Volunteer Royal Garrison Artillery from 1890.
