Of the " Waverley " and " Glen Rosa's " share in winning the great victory, it may be mentioned that, after sweeping and patrolling westward of Ilfracombe, they were latterly engaged on the same duties at the mouth of the River Thames.

The last two, the " Ravenswood " and the " Albion, " put in much valuable work sweeping between Dover and Dunkirk.
